This notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter “GDPR”). The information provided here applies exclusively to the website computeria.it and not to any third-party websites or online services that may be accessed by visitors via hyperlinks published on this website.
This page describes the management methods of the site with regard to the processing of personal data of users who consult it, browse it, request information, or place orders, in accordance with the available functionalities and services offered by the site. All processing carried out by the Data Controller is always based on the principles of lawfulness and fairness, in compliance with all current regulations, including the adoption of appropriate security measures to protect personal data.

2) PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF PROCESSING
Depending on the visitor’s activity, the data collected are processed for the following purposes (according to the legal bases indicated below):
A. To manage information requests submitted by visitors via email or live chat (Art. 6, para. 1, lett. b of the GDPR – performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request);
B. To allow quick access to one’s personal data processed by the Controller;
C. To ensure the proper functioning of the site, including security and prevention of potential cyber-attacks or unlawful uses.
3) THIRD PARTIES PROCESSING DATA
The Data Controller uses its own “Data Processors,” meaning external entities (companies or professionals) who process data on behalf of the Controller, pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR. These processors may only process personal data in relation to the tasks assigned to them. For computeria.it, these entities include:
– Companies responsible for maintaining the technological part of the site;
– IT service companies managing email systems.
4) DATA RETENTION PERIODS
For the purposes referred to in item A, data will be deleted within 2 years from the last email exchanged with the user.
For the purposes referred to in items B and C, data related to orders and invoices will be retained for a maximum of 10 years from the date the user registered on computeria.it.
User data will be deleted 5 years after account creation or at any time upon request by the data subject. In any case, account deletion does not automatically entail the deletion of data processed by the Controller for purposes A, B, and C.
5) NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
All fields marked as mandatory are required in order for the user’s request to be processed. Without such information, it may not be possible to contact the user.
6) BROWSING DATA
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some personal data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of users’ computers and terminals, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the file received in response, numerical code indicating the server’s response status (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
